Landowner Education
Plain-language guidance on property goals, clearing methods, excavation, and what Wayne looks at when planning a job.
Start with the goal
Clear brush, saplings, and unwanted growth to make acreage easier to use, maintain, or prepare for livestock.
Open shooting lanes, travel corridors, food-plot access, and selected areas while preserving the parts you want to keep.
Create or reopen routes for equipment, trucks, ATVs, walking, and general property access.
Remove vegetation around existing or planned fencing so the line is visible, accessible, and easier to maintain.
Bring neglected or heavily grown areas back under control so the land can be maintained and used again.
Prepare an area for a home, shop, barn, pad, or future construction by clearing and shaping the site as needed.
Improve access by clearing, grading, widening, or preparing routes into and across the property.
Prepare property for larger construction, access, staging, or development work where equipment and coordination matter.
Remove storm-damaged trees, brush, and debris so the property is safer and easier to access and restore.
Choose the right approach
Best for many brush, sapling, trail, fence-line, and reclamation jobs where material can be processed on site and a lower-disturbance finish is useful.
Better when larger trees, heavier material, stumps, or full site preparation require more complete removal and handling.
Used when the job involves digging, shaping the ground, drainage, access, pads, elevation changes, or moving soil and material.
